So, you’ve decided that you want to become a Beachbody coach.
Congratulations! You’re about to join an amazing community who will support you as you launch your business, change lives, and become the best you possible. You’re excited to get signed up, but there’s just one last question:
“How much does it cost to be a Beachbody coach?
Here’s the short answer: You can get started as a Beachbody coach for anywhere between $39.95 and $305. That’s it. I don’t know about you, but that sounds a heck of a lot better to me than spending (or borrowing. Yikes!) thousands of dollars to get a new business off the ground and then waiting years to just break even on the initial investment.
The startup cost for a Beachbody coach varies depending on the products purchased during the coach sign-up process. Some coaches choose to sign up with a challenge pack (workout program + Shakeology and possibly more) and that cost can vary from $140 to $305. If you choose not to go that route, you will only have to pay the one-time $39.95 coach sign-up fee. Fun fact: This fee is waived for active duty military or their spouses, and for veterans. How great is that?
Remember, you’ll need at least 50 PV to be considered an active coach, meaning that you will need roughly $50 worth of personal or customer orders per monthly cycle in order to stay active. Helpful Hint: Your personal Shakeology HD order (if you have one. Why wouldn’t you?) will keep your PV covered for the month. So, those signing up with the $39.95 coach fee will need to ensure that they get the 50 PV needed in order to become active.
After you’re all signed up, you’ll pay a recurring monthly fee from there on out. By now you’re probably thinking, “AHA! There’s a catch!” But hear me out.
You’ll pay a monthly fee of $15.95 per month. That fee handles your Coach Online Office, your FREE Beachbody Coach website, tracking and shipping your orders, and keeping a running list of your customers and their information. Unlike most businesses, Beachbody coaches don’t have to worry about keeping inventory, handling orders, or shipping. Beachbody handles all of that through your website. Various reports on your business and earnings are also kept within the Coach Online Office. What other business takes all of that burden off of you for only $15.95 a month? None. And it sure beats paying a bookkeeper $60 to $100 (the national average) per hour.
If you are also using Shakeology and receiving it on HD (again, why wouldn’t you be?), that order combined with your monthly fee will equal around $120 per month. But if you’re helping at least 3 people per month, your Shakeology is paid for. That’s right!
