CONGRATULATIONS! You’re about to be a part of an amazing, supportive community of people who are changing lives every day. It’s truly one of the most rewarding “jobs” on the planet, but before you go handing in your resignation at your day job and building your empire, here are a few things you should know:
- YOU WON’T GET RICH OVERNIGHT: Being a Beachbody coach is a flexible job that is also fun and rewarding. But it doesn’t happen overnight. Yes, you can absolutely make a great income as a coach, but it will take time and effort, and a genuine desire to help others. You will need to manage your time, build relationships, and practice consistency in order to build your business and your income. Any success you experience is going to be a direct reflection of the time and effort you spend building your business and helping others. Be patient. This is not a “get rich quick” scheme. Just like any new business, it will take time to see the monetary rewards from all your hard work.
- YOU ARE YOUR OWN BRAND: Yes, Beachbody has some amazing products. And yes, your income depends on others enjoying those products. But the products aren’t what will attract people to your business – you are. Would you want to purchase P90x or 21 Day Fix from a coach who’d never tried a program? Probably not. As a Beachbody coach, you’ll need to be a product of the product, and you’ll need to share your story, your journey, and your transformation. After all, a Beachbody coach inspires and encourages others, and it starts with you. If you want to attract people to your business, you’ll need to walk the walk. Pretty soon, you’ll have people reaching out to you asking, “Girl, what have you been doing?”
- IT ALL STARTS WITH A BELIEF IN YOURSELF: It may sound cheesy, but if you don’t believe that you can succeed in this business, it won’t happen. There’s a reason that personal development is one of the 4 Vital Behaviors of successful Beachbody coaches. If you believe that you can achieve your dreams in this business, then you’ll have a much better chance of reaching your goals. If you come from a negative mindset, you will burn out fast. Your positivity will keep you focused on your business and goals, and that positivity will attract some great people to your business.
- IT’S A FUN JOB, BUT IT TAKES WORK: One of the best things about being a Beachbody C\coach is that you don’t have your boss looking over your shoulder and you’re not chained to a desk all day long. You can work from anywhere. How great is that? Here’s the thing: It’s still WORK. Yes, you can absolutely build a successful business with a great team of people and be making a full-time income, but it’ll take some time and hard work. You are your own boss, so you’ll need to make sure you’re putting in the time and effort to build your business. You’ll be responsible for managing your time and ensuring that you’re doing everything you need to do for your business.
- YOU NEED TO BE 100% YOU: Here’s the thing: People love to buy things. They HATE being sold to. You should always be sharing your story and being authentically you, both good and bad. Perfection won’t attract people to your business because there’s nothing relatable about perfect people. If you’re being phony or not genuinely sharing your journey with others, you will not attract people to your business. People can always tell when you’re not being real with them. Be yourself and share your journey. Be interested in building relationships and changing lives. Only then will you attract the type of people that will help grow a successful business.
- YOU SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON CHANGING LIVES: Part of what makes being a Beachbody coach so rewarding is being able to meet new people, build relationships, and change lives every single day. In fact, your business depends on it. Yes, you can absolutely make part-time or full-time income, but money should never be your primary focus. If you’re not genuinely interested in helping others transform their lives, then you probably won’t find coaching to be very fun or rewarding. Moreover, you won’t find the monetary success you seek.
